Börnergasse Park is a tranquil little neighborhood playground in Döbling, Vienna’s 19th district. Even though the playground is actually sailing-themed, you might not realize it, since there are too few pieces of equipment to make it apparent. The heart of the playground — a climbing boat — is one of them, though. For many kids, the highlight of the Börnergasse Park is a flying fox, which is short but quite steep and therefore unusually fast, so it’s possibly not quite suitable for smaller kids. Other playground facilities include a sand pit, a slide, and swings. Also, there are a few sports camps in Börnergasse Park — namely a football pitch and a basketball court.
