Elisabethwiese is a popular meadow nestled between the summits of two of Vienna´s most-important hills, Kahlenberg and Leopoldsberg. It lies in Vienna’s 19th district Döbling, close to the border with Lower Austria. A small forest playground with swings and a water fountain makes the Elisabethwiese a welcome stop for families hiking with children because neither of the hills have a playground. On the edge of the meadow is the Josefinenhütte, popular with day trippers and a destination restaurant. What makes the Elisabethwiese most-famous, though, is the Waldseilpark Kahlenberga, a forest rope park with 18 courses for adults and children. Kahlenberg Dwarf (Wichtelparcour Kahlenberg) is a part of the adventurepark where little kids can test and improve their balance skills for free. In the dwarf area, you will find another small playground with a jolly slide, a swinging animal, and an unusual seesaw.
