Hirschstetten Bathing Pond Playground is a fantastically-natural playground on the shore of the Hirschstetten Bathing Pond. It features several play areas with plenty of playground equipment pieces, some of which are considered the coolest in Vienna! Especially popular is the giant Robinson Island-themed toboggan slide, erected on an artificially-built hill and featuring a great climbing wall and climbing nets – both suitable for bigger kids. Another highlight? The two, cool, plus-sized swings found in a separated play area, located a bit further down. The main playground area has an enticing ships-and-marine leitmotif, so its centerpiece is a lovely wooden climbing ship with little climbing walls, climbing nets and even a climbing tower. All parts are of lower or medium difficulty, great for smaller kids. For toddlers, there´s a sandpit and some cute swinging fish, including an original large swinging dolphin that seats several kids. But the list of the playground attractions doesn´t end here, there are also two other small climbing structures with slides, numerous swings, and even a workout area with somersault bars and a balancing trunk. The playground and all the green area around the Hirschstetten bathing pond is not only beautiful, but also very relaxing and suitable for all kinds of family activities – whether it be a walk (even with a stroller), kids’ cycling, family fitness training, bathing, or perhaps hide-and-seek. There are plenty of trees; however, the toddlers´ marine playground has none, which means no shade.
