The Infocenter U2xU5 is a new, highly-interactive information and education center of Wiener Linien. If you or your little ones are into the underground, trains, vehicles, and public transport, we are confident you will find this place truly exciting. With an area of more than 700 m², the interactive and multi-media exhibition will give you deep insights into Vienna’s underworld and subway system, as well as the planning, construction and operation of the new subway routes.
What does a tunnel-boring machine look like? How many public vehicles are there in Vienna? How do they decide where a new station should be built? You will learn plenty of fun facts about Vienna’s public transport!
The Infocenter U2xU5is located in the mezzanine of the future U5 station Volkstheater and you can get there from the Burggasse exit. While admission is free, we recommend you check the opening hours beforehand, as they are not open all day.
