Opened in 2014 in the very heart of Vienna´s Inner City, the Lugeck – Figlmüller Wien is a modern interpretation of a traditional Viennese restaurant. Stylish interior, high ceilings, large glass windows; it all gives the restaurant a light, airy and relaxed feel. The restaurant is run by the Figlmüller family who also run Vienna´s most famous Wiener Schnitzel restaurant, the Figlmüller. As a result, you can expect a superb Schnitzel here as well. The menu is a combination of traditional Austrian, Central European, and international fare, all prepared fresh. The Lugeck – Figlmüller Wien is definitely one of the go-to-places if you´re looking for a classy yet relaxed family restaurant serving traditional Viennese specialties. The restaurant entrance is not barrier-free, but staff are truly helpful. Baby changing station and high chairs are available. The restaurant is located on two floor, of which both are fine even when visiting with a stroller since there´s an internal lift to take you comfortably upstairs.
