Märzpark is an urban, medium-sized playground located next to the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna’s 15th district of Rudolfsheim – Fünfhaus. The playground isn’t really particular per se, but (just like the nearby Vogelweid Park) it’s a good option if you are attending a concert or an event at the Stadthalle, going swimming at the Stadthallenbad, or ice-skating at the Eisstadthalle. Having said so, Märzpark features a giant climbing installation, a sand pit, a slide, swings, picnic tables, and a drinking-water fountain, which means that you will find all the essentials here. Not only that, but Märzpark also enjoys particular popularity with local teens thanks to its sports facilities that include a football pitch, a volleyball court, and a basketball court.
