Original Viennese Snow Globes Factory and Museum is a very small original Viennese specialty museum, dedicated to one of Vienna typical souvenirs par excellence-the snow globes. The space is not only a museum but primarily, it’s a manufacturer’s workshop where the snow globes have been invented and are still produced by Perzy.
The museum can be visited with free admission. For individuals, there’s no need to book in advance. For groups of 10 and more people, tours can be arranged for free, which last about an hour.
On the spot, you can buy ready-made snow globes or even have them produced especially for you, with personalization as per your wishes. The Original Viennese Snow Globes Factory and Museum is the place where you will find the largest selection of snow globes in the whole Vienna. Selected pieces can be found in many souvenir shops and, during Advent, on Vienna’s biggest Christmas Market, the Christkindlmarkt at Vienna City Hall.
The Original Viennese Snow Globes Factory and Museum is open Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and in some months additional opening dates are available. Kids are allowed, but for safety reasons, guided tours of the workshop can only be offered for groups of children aged 14 years and older.
