Urban’s Lounge Restaurant, a pleasant family-run neighborhood café restaurant in a residential area next to the Vienna Central Station, just opposite the Motorikpark 10 Favoriten is a hotspot for families. It´s literally an oasis of peace in the middle of hustle and bustle of this busy Sonnwendviertel area. The cuisine is diverse, inspired from all over the world, but the focus lies on Austrian and Mediterranean dishes. That being said, it´s almost guaranteed that all kids will find something they like. Very popular not only with families is the brunch on Saturday and Sundays. There´s no proper play area but a box with toys is provided. Outside, there´s a small area with street tables and plenty of space for kids to run around. Fortunately, it´s pretty save for kids since the free space is nested between the houses and completely traffic-free.
