Then the Vienna Ice Dream is your destination! Every year in winter, the Vienna Ice Dream opens its doors directly in front of the City Hall and invites you to open-air ice skating in the middle of Vienna between the end of December and mid-March. The best thing is to come with your whole family and enjoy the atmosphere in the open air in front of one of the most beautiful buildings in Vienna. You don’t have any skates? No problem. You can simply borrowed some on site. Warm drinks are also provided by numerous stands. An absolute highlight during a visit to Vienna during the winter season and definitely recommended. Due to the excellent, central location, ice skating on Rathausplatz can also be combined with a visit to other attractions such as the MQ Museumsquartier and the Hofburg Imperial Palace, as well as a visit to the Butterfly House.
