Vollpension is a lovely cozy intergenerational café with a unique concept of bringing generations together. The idea is to create a place where young and old naturally connect, meet, and work together, where older colleagues are perceived as highly valuable, and where guests of all generations feel well thanks to a homey atmosphere. Think of a visit to a grandma´s to get the idea. The ambiance fits the concept perfectly. It feels cozy, familiar and reassuring, just like in grandma´s living room, indeed. Here, you will be served by senior people (called “Omas and Opas”) along with two-generations-younger boys and girls. All food is homemade on the premises, fresh, and, well, reassuring. Hence you find utterly delicious cakes, typical Austrian and Central European dishes, breakfast variations, as well as sandwiches, and little snacks. Kids love the place and the atmosphere and so do the moms and dads. It´s a popular meetup place for new moms with babies, despite the fact that the entrance is not barrier-free. You either need to carry the stroller a few stairs down or, even better, come with a baby carrier instead. Either way, it´s definitely worth the fatigue – plus there´s always someone ready to help you with the stroller should you need it. Baby changing station is available.
