Flokal is a unique cozy super family-friendly restaurant in Süssenbrunn in Vienna´s 22nd district. The interior is traditional, with lots of massive wood everywhere, and so is the guest garden featuring lovely flower beds . At the same time, the Flokal is also very contemporary. The place has been recently renovated to meet the 21st century ecological zeitgeist. Now, it´s energy-efficient, they recuperate heat, use the earth heat, and even grow their own plants and herbs. In line with that, the menu at the restaurant is limited, rigorously fresh, strictly seasonal, and, obviously, home-made. Another highlight for families is a lovely indoor playground. The Flokal is an ideal place to visit when going bathing to the Süssenbrunn Bathing Pond.
