Klassik Cool Children´s Concerts are popular concerts giving children the opportunity to experience lively classical music and instruments at an early age. There are four Klassik Cool programme series designed for different age groups.
At the baby concerts, parents with babies are invited to enjoy classical music in a beautiful family setting. Afterwards, enjoy coffee, tea and cake, as well as the wonderfully-relaxed opportunity to chat with other parents.
You already know that, you already can is a concert series aimed at children from age one. Experience everyday situations with movement, dance and singing music-pedagogically prepared. Classical music, jazz and swinging piano improvisations inspire even the youngest children!
Great Music for Little Discoverers is a series of programmes for children from age two. It offers classical music, children’s songs and enchanting stories, interwoven in a performance suitable for small children with many interactive elements. The programmes range from portraits of composers and philosophical stories to fairy tales. Some concerts allow you to try out a craft workshop before the concert and many instruments after.
Philosophy meets Music is a concert series for big kids. It features post-production concert material which invites an exciting philosophical discussion of the respective programme.
The concerts take place at various locations, such as the District Museum Floridsdorf, District Museum Josefstadt, VHS Ottakring, VHS Hietzing, VHS Alterlaa and Cafe Schopenhauer. There are special dates and offers for schools, after-school care centres and kindergartens. The participation concerts last about 45 minutes and are very popular, so we recommend you book early.
