BMX Trail Zirkuswiese is a place you should definitely check out if your kid is a bicycle fan. It´s a curated sports camp in Prater, next to the Zirkuswiese playground and opposite the playground on the Meiereiwiese that was created for little bikers to train and improve their skills. It´s slightly hilly, which makes it ideal for a first-time trail climber or a kid. Combine it with a long bike ride through Prater Park, stopping at all cool playgrounds such as the Jesuitenwiese (Ranch Playground), where you will find the longest giant slide in Vienna, the Arenawiese which boasts Vienna´s possibly biggest giant swing, or the Affenspielplatz (Monkeys´ Playground) that features a flying fox. If you have a bike and make it to the other end of Prater Park, you will be rewarded with two more great forest playgrounds, the Ameiswiese and the Großenzersdorfer Wiese also known as Lusthaus Playground since it´s located next to the famous traditional destination restaurant. The latter will treat you with a tire carousel, a flying fox carousel, a water playground, and a forest sound organ, just to name some of the unusual equipment you can find there.
