Monki Park is a premium, quite large indoor adventure family park located on the 5th floor of the Millenium Shopping Mall. It’s designed for kids and adults of any age (0-99 years, as they claim), and indeed, it’s one of the few indoor playgrounds in Vienna that manages to attract not only toddlers and children but also teenagers and adults (!), too — mostly because of the adventure and climbing parcours and some fun play areas like Pit Pat (a mixture of minigolf and table tennis). It obviously also features a wide range of various fun and play facilities, including bouncy castles, trampolines, e-go-kart (for a fee), toddler play area with a ball pit, and more. Self-service restaurant on the premises serves both the usual kids’ favourites like fries or chicken nuggets as well as a selection of healthier food options, including salads, veggie pasta, fruits, and more. Birthday parties here very popular, especially for children from age of 5-6 years and older. On weekends it tends to get really crowded, especially on bad weather days, so you have to expect long queues to get in. Kids from age of 8 years are allowed to stay and play without parents. Shoes, jackets, strollers, and bags need to be left in the changing area at the entrance; some boxes with lockers are available. It’s obligatory to wear socks. Once a month, there’s a “Friday Night” when the indoor park is only open to adults and teenagers from the age of 14. Special offers are available for schools, kindergartens, companies, and private events.
