The Torture Museum (Foltermuseum) is a quirky, specialty museum dedicated to the dark side of European and human history. At around 800 sqm of exhibition space, some 100 exhibits provide information on the cruelty, witchcraft, executions and development of European law since ancient times. Shocking and educating at the same time, the exhibits are truly impressive and vivid. They are not, therefore, suitable for children ages 6 and under; however, we recommend it for ages 10 and up. Book your ticket online in advance to gain access to the Foltermuseum without losing any time at the ticket kiosk.
