Café Restaurant Oktogon am Himmel is Vienna´s destination restaurant par excellence. Located on the top of the Am Himmel hill, just next to the Life Trees Circle (Lebensbaumkreis Am Himmel), it features an amazing view of Vienna and a great summer garden. The all-glass walls that surround the café restaurant make it possible to enjoy the view even when staying inside. The menu includes a combination of fresh and seasonal local dishes as well as favorite European and international cuisine and a very popular Sunday brunch. The summertime even features an outdoor BBQ station. Despite not providing an inside kids corner, the Café Restaurant Oktogon am Himmel, located just opposite the beloved Am Himmel forest playground, offers a great option for families on nice weather days. There´s enough space inside for strollers and the ambiance is quite stylish, making it a great choice for family functions as well as an ideal spot for a nice coffee or glass of wine when returning from a light hike from the Cobenzl, the Jägerwiese, the Cobenzl Butterfly Path or even from the Hermannskogel.
