Café Schopenhauer is an old traditional Viennese kaffeehaus serving traditional Viennese dishes in a very relaxed atmosphere in the heart of the 18th district. Wide choice of gluten-free and lactose free options is available, homemade fresh cakes are baked daily. On Sunday, there´s a buffet brunch. Highlight for families are the family afternoons, each first Saturday of the month with special program ranging from puppet theater to concerts to books reading and crafts. There´s a small play area with board games and bricks, as well as a library area with books and magazines for children and adults. The café is located not far from the AKH and Volksoper, while Währinger Schubert Park and Anton Baumann Park playgrounds are just a short walk away.
