The Häuserl am Roan is a popular destination restaurant. Located on the City Hiking Trail 3 – Hameau, it´s a convenient stop for hikers walking from the Neuwaldegg – Exelberg, the Schwarzenberg Park, the Hermannskogel or one of the many other paths in the Vienna Woods. Its location makes it a truly idyllic spot in the middle of the Vienna Woods. Offering a great view of Vienna, it is a destination restaurant in its own right. Serving delicious Austrian cuisine and regional specialties, the Häuserl am Roan features a spacious outdoor playground with a sandpit, swings and tons of space to run around, making it a great place for families with kids in the summer. It´s somewhat less suitable in the winter, as there´s no kids corner or entertainment options for children inside and the majority of guests are seniors, so noisy kids running around are undesirable. High chairs, limited space for a few strollers, and kids portions are available.
