Experience music interactively. Do “normal” museums with their quiet, simple and uneventful atmosphere bore you? Want to visit a museum but still experience an adventure? No problem!
The House of Music – The Sound Museum offers you and your family a unique experience. This museum is interactive and playful, making it a successful alternative for children to less interesting, ordinary museums. The museum features 5 levels with numerous opportunities for actively getting to know and discover the subject of music and its numerous aspects and subject areas. This museum is especially-suitable for children because they can be active rather than passive observers. One highlight is the Virto stage on the 4th floor, where you and your children can become conductors and, depending on your movements, influence the stage design and the music. The 5th floor features a variety of events on a regular basis where you can also enjoy a wonderful view over Vienna’s rooftops from the panoramic roof. This is truly great fun for the whole family!
