Located in Türkenschanzpark, the Meierei Diglas is a family-friendly café restaurant located in one of the most beautiful parks in Vienna. It’s part of the Diglas empire that also includes the famed Viennese coffee house, Café-Restaurant Diglas, and the popular Café Diglas im Schottenstift. In the Meierei Diglas, you´ll find traditional, Austrian specialties with modern, healthy delicacies like avocado toast, salmon tartar, or contemporary burgers. A good selection of breakfast variations is available until 11:30am daily. The homemade, sweet dishes are excellent, as well as the cakes and desserts from their own confisserie at Fleischmarkt. Traditional dishes are prepared according to the original recipes dating back to the Emperor Franz Joseph time. Fun fact: In 1888, the Emperor came here as a guest and was proudly served a sweet snack by the ancestors of today´s owners. The café also boasts a beautiful guest garden situated in an idyllic ambiance that is great for families; however, it gets incredibly busy on good-weather weekends, so we recommend booking a table in advance.
