Pötzleinsdorfer Schlosspark – Pötzipark Playground is a fantastically-large playground in one of Vienna´s most beautiful parks, Pötzleinsdorfer Schlosspark. It´s situated close to the main entrance to the park in the Geweygasse. Near the front of the gate, there´s a recently-reconstructed public toilet and the end station of the tram line 41, which will comfortably take you to Ringstrasse (Schottentor station). The Pötzipark Playground is an all-rounder, catering to all age groups. It’s great during any season of the year. Spend hot summer days enjoying the huge water playground with waterfall landscape, and lots of shadows throughout. Winter provides an expansive hilly meadow that transforms into a favorite sledding hill. There´s also a flying fox and several exciting climbing facilities with slides – one long, but definitely not comparable with the likes of giant slides at Prater – Jesuitenwiese (Ranch Playground) or at Sparefroh Playground. You will also find plenty of swings, swinging animals, swinging nets, a nest swing, a cute old-style bike-carousel, a swing carousel, and much more. There´s a separate little kids´ play area with a small covered sandpit. Next to the toddlers´ playground is a little refreshment stand selling simple food and drinks such as wurstel sausages, ice cream, snacks, coffee, and drinks. Its simplicity makes it a game-changer for many parents. For more sophisticated food choices and ambiance, choose the Petit Dej or Wirtshaus Steirerstöckl which are both situated close to the entrances to Pötzleinsdorfer Schlosspark.
