ZOOM Ocean is an early childhood adventure playground which is part of the ZOOM Children´s Museum, located in the heart of Vienna´s Museumsquartier. Designed for kids ages 8 months to 6 years, it´s a completely different concept of indoor playground than any other place in Vienna can offer. Their approach to play is didactic, tactile, educational and at the same time so much fun.
There´s so much to be explored – the water grotto, the mirror tunnel, a coral reef with tickle anemones, and a submarine. A featured highlight is the ship called Famosa, where kids can become sailors by operating the steering wheel and communicating with the lighthouse, or perhaps a fisherman who tries to catch fish or loosen knots?
ZOOM Ocean is a place you’ll want to visit, possibly even regularly. It offers a great yearly card for families. The play dates are fixed, and, except for Mondays, there are usually one or two play dates a day. Advanced booking is recommended for individual visitors and required for groups! On sibling dates, even kids older than 6 years can come with their younger siblings. One accompanying adult per child is granted free admission. Additional adults and kids must pay for admission.
