Das Campus is a particularly kid-friendly café/restaurant located in a surprising place – the campus of the University of Economics of Vienna. It is within the vicinity of Prater Park, the Prater Amusement Park, and the Wien Messe exhibition center. Despite not featuring any proper kids area, toys, drawing stuff, kids books, and high chairs are aplenty, as well as a baby-changing station and a lot of outside space for kids to run around. The crowd at Das Campus is rather interesting, primarily composed of students and faculty employees, with some moms-in-the-know coming here intentionally when visiting the nearby playgrounds in Prater, like the Prater – Jesuitenwiese (Ranch Playground), the Prater – Arenawiese or the Prater – Meiereiwiese playground. It features a vibrant, modern and youthful atmosphere. The food is a combination of European and international cuisine, with homemade burgers being one of the highlights. During the academic year, it tends to get crowded, especially during lunch.
