Meiereiwiese is a favorite medium-sized park playground located in Prater, in Vienna’s 2nd district of Leopoldstadt, and not far from the Praterstern transport hub. While the place has a lot to offer for kids of any age, it’s particularly popular with younger children and their parents. This is also because Meiereiwiese is a fenced stadium, while most of the other playgrounds in Prater Park are not.
As for the infrastructure, Meiereiwiese boasts a water playground, a sand & mud playground, an artificial hill with a cool tunnel passing through the hill, and an exciting large slide at the top. Other playground facilities include a sand pit, a slide, swings, a climbing facility, balancing carpet, swinging nest, and swinging animals. Meiereiwiese is also a favorite picnic place, since it features several picnic tables in the shade and a drinking-water fountain.
