Waldseilpark Kahlenberg is a famous forest rope park with 18 courses for adults and children in the Vienna Woods, in Vienna’s 19th district Döbling. It´s located on the Elisabethwiese, nestled between two of Vienna´s most essential hills, Kahlenberg and Leopoldsberg. The Waldseilpark Kahlenberg is a place where you and your family can test and improve your climbing skills, overcome physical limits and experience the forest from an entirely new perspective. High levels of adrenalin and endorphins guaranteed! It boasts 180 exercises and obstacles, from rope bridges to shaky nets and flying foxes, some of them at a tree height of 20 meters (65 ft.). The Waldseilpark Kahlenberg Rope Forest Park has something for every age and height: eight easy blue courses up to 7 m .in height for children from a height of 110 cm, six medium-difficulty red courses in height up to 10 m., suitable for children from a height of 130 cm, and four difficult black courses up to 20 m in height, ideal for courageous adults and teens from a height of 150 cm. There´s also something for the littlest ones. In the Kahlenberg Dwarf (Wichtelparcour Kahlenberg) area, kids of any age can test their skills on the course with a height of 35 cm. To use the dwarf course, children don´t require any special equipment and it´s even free of charge. Next to the park entrance is the Elisabethwiese playground, a small forest playground open to the public. The whole Waldseilpark Kahlenberg was created with sustainability in mind; therefore, all stations are attached to existing trees through a special technique which ensures that the trees are not damaged and you can enjoy the scenic Vienna Woods in perfect harmony with nature. To do so, you will obviously need special equipment (helmets and belts) and proper instruction in the use of the Smart Belay technics; both are provided by the Waldseilpark Kahlenberg and included in the entrance fee. From home, you will only need to bring comfortable closed shoes and clothing (skirts and beach sandals are not allowed). Unfortunately, there are no changing rooms; only some lockers are available where you can leave your staff. However, we recommend that you keep your valuables in a backpack or a belly bag that you can take with you. No worries about food and drink since just opposite the entrance to the Waldseilpark Kahlenberg there´s the fabulous Josefinenhütte.
