Pusteblumee is a communal indoor playground designed for kids aged 0 to 6/7 years and run by the District of Neubau. It’s located in the Bandgasse 22 in the 7th district, just a stone’s throw away from its sibling communal indoor playground called Kichererbse. Both can be used by general public everyday for free; however, they are only accessible to people in posession of the key/chip card. These can be borrowed against a deposit of 50€ per key by contacting Mrs. Matschnig of Kiebiz Kinderzentrum. Unfortunately, there´s a waiting list since the number of keys is limited. Compared to the Kichererbse indoor playground, which has an area of about 80 sq. m and has been operating since 2003, it’s particularly suitable for the littlest ones; its younger sibling Pusteblume is considerably newer and somewhat bigger. It’s been in operation since 2016 on an area of about 90 sq. m divided into four rooms and offers more fun and play equipment for bigger, a.k.a. pre-school, kids. A climbing wall, plus-size crayons with drawing wall, cars with slides, ball pit are just a few of the play facilities you can find here. The premises can NOT be rented for kids’ birthday parties.
