Siebensternpark is a picturesque, medium-sized neighborhood playground whose unmistakable landmark is a Tarzan-style climbing installation with a spider net and seven-star totems. The leitmotif of the seven stars is not accidental; in fact, it takes inspiration from the name of the street in Neubau, Vienna’s 7th district, where the playground is located. The Siebensternpark is not exactly a destination playground; however, since it’s situated in a densely-populated, very trendy neighborhood with just a few playgrounds around, it’s very popular with families. Siebensternpark boasts a sand & mud playground and a play water fountain, which make it a perfect play area on hot summer days. It also features a sand pit, a slide, swings, a climbing facility, a nest, and a multi-seat seesaw. Besides those, there’s also table tennis and a basketball court, as well as picnic tables and a drinking-water fountain in Siebensternpark.
