Jump Around is a very popular medium-sized indoor playground in Vienna’s 4th district Wieden. It extends on two floors, which together cover an area of ca. 300 sq. m – all dedicated to kids and fun. The space is divided in four main zones. The play area is kind of a giant kids’ playroom with heated floor where children can find impressive ammount of dolls, mini-cars, Lego/Duplo bricks, Playmobil, kitchenette, books, and plenty of toys. There’s also a creative corner where children can craft, draw, paint, and get as creative as they want. The movement area is a space designed for crawling, jumping, and running around, equipped with softfall mats, soft bricks, and the highlight: a wooden climbing installation with a slide, just as you would find on a proper outdoor playground. In the basement, there’s a kids’ disco area with proper disco lights and sound where children can have fun dancing and jumping. Last but not least, there’s a parent area offering comfortable seating with free WiFi and some drinks and coffee within sight of the ball pit and other parts of the play area. The focus here is definitely on playing and fun, not on the cafe part, but you are allowed to bring your own food and drinks. There’s a space for parking strollers, but this is limited. The Jump Around playground is suitable for kids aged 0 to 10 years. In the mornings, it’s mostly populated by toddlers and little kids; whereas, the afternoons are popular with bigger kids. The venue can also be rented for birthday parties and private fests.
