The RollercoasterRestaurant® in Prater Amusement Park is a special experience for children. It is the first Austrian outlet of a high-tech concept-restaurant chain where food is ordered on tablets and served via robot hands. It´s quite different from “normal” restaurants, yet extraordinarily-fun to watch. There is an inside staff, but they simply exist to explain the concept, help you place your order using a tablet, serve drinks, and occasionally, accommodate special requests. The food is good but not superior in quality and the menu features many kid-friendly favorites like homemade burgers and fries, noodles, chicken nuggets, fried meat variations, salads and more. There is an occasional show where the lights are turned off and the rollercoaster lights up in different colors. This is most-definitely a restaurant you need to try at least once in your life, as it’s definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The facility accommodates birthday parties, as well. For even more fun, combine the Rollercoaster Restaurant experience with a visit to the Madame Tussaud´s Museum, the Chocolate Museum Prater, or a ride on the Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel.
