Salon am Park is an exceptional, lovely, tiny bio café in the 2nd district, next to Rudolf Bednar Park. It´s a fantastic community project, founded in March 2014 and still run by inhabitants of the house in which it´s located. The scope is to provide a meeting place for neighbors, and help create a strong community feel. Here, you can have a breakfast, quick lunch or snack, or simply enjoy a cup of excellent coffee or tea. Or a high quality ice-cream, in the summer. Also, you can buy organic products such as bread, diary, jams, oils, wine, pesto, spreads, chocolates, and craft lemonades, along with ecological cleaning products and bamboo tooth brushes. All products are organic and/or regional. Despite the fact that the place is really small, there´s a little play area for kids, as well as a small outdoor seating area with several sunbeds.
