Café Diglas I’m Schottenstift is a traditional style Wiener Kaffeehaus in the heart of Vienna. The café looks historic but, surprisingly, it is quite new. You will find your typical Vienna coffeehouse dishes here except that here, they are generally of better quality. One highlight is the excellent home-made pastries. There´s enough space for strollers but no play facilities for toddlers. Very friendly relaxed atmosphere invites to hang here for hours. Not to mention the breakfast in the court yard guest garden on a sunny summer day – it´s absolutely lovely! The guest garden is also accessible directly from the rear, from Schottenstift building which also hosts two great family attractions, the Hands Up! and the Dialogue in the Dark. Choice of Austrian and international newspapers to read is available too.
