EKIZ GIlgegasse is Vienna’s first parent-and-child center founded in 1982 in Alsergrund. Due to high demand, they later opened a second location in Piaristengasse in Vienna’s 8th district. The center offers a truly wide range of playgroups, courses, and workshops for kids from the age of 3 months, new parents, future parents, babysitters, and grandparents. Pikler, music, and movement playgroups for kids aged 3 months to 3 years. Early music education courses, parent-and-child gymnastics, kids’ gymnastics and exercise courses for children’s aged 3 to 10 years. Yoga, postnatal exercise, and pelvic-floor-strengthening and other exercise classes for new moms with babies and pregnant women. Parent-and-child meetup for kids aged 0 to 6 years, various support groups and meetups. Very rich offerings of pre-birth and after-birth workshops for parents.
