Heiligenstädter Park in Döbling, Vienna´s 19th district is very popular with families, as it boasts three playgrounds. One, atop the Hohe Warte hill in a part which was formerly a garden and owned by the Rothschild family, is also called Rothschild Garden Hohe Warte. It´s the least-exciting of the three playgrounds in the Heiligenstädter Park, but the one with the best view and surroundings. The other two play stadiums are called Heiligenstädter Park Playground and are very exciting. The more popular park is located in the Grinzinger Straße and boasts a challenging low ropes parcourse, spider nets, a climbing house with a long slide, and a small house with a short slide, a swinging nest, a sandpit, swings, and more. The second park is located close to the Hintergärtengasse, boasts a uniquely-challenging climbing pyramid with a cool giant toboggan slide, more common playground facilities and a fenced toddlers´ playground. Since the playgrounds are located in the beautiful Heiligenstädter Park, we highly-recommend you enjoy a walk, for the park and the view from the top of the Hohe Warte hill are amazing!
